MARVELOUS! This is what I felt after reading Who Moved My Cheese? by Dr. Spencer Johnson. Its simply amazing. Everyday most of us feel something has changed in our daily routine. But, we are not ready to accept it. We demand an explanation for that change. Who changed it?
Why changed it? Why did not they inform us before? Etc. We refuse to accept it. But the changes will not happen overnight. We dont see it coming. Sometimes we see it coming still ignore it. Though ignorance is bliss, for todays fast living it hardly holds. Sometimes we know it is happening we still wait for the right time to come, so that will change later. Most of us have the habit of thinking first let it happen, and then we will do this or that. Years back my husband gifted me this lovely book. I felt I was born again.
The story is amazing. For those who have not read it, in brief the story goes like this. Its about four characters, two mice & two little people and their chase for cheese in maze. Here, the author connects us to cheese as a symbol for what we want to have in life. It can be a good job, a relationship, anything. And the maze is where we look for what we want, like the company we work for, the family etc. In our life if anyone ask us whether we are scared of change, we readily say no. If the same asked with a little twist like do we think others are scared of change we say yes. Changes are part of our life. It can be a change in our work, life style, bus route, work area or relationship. We just cant sit and demand the explanation. Just be prepared to face it in a positive attitude and enjoy the life
