The Thrive Business Clinic is an interactive question and answer forum which will hold on July 6, 2013. Designed as a practical, hands on session, the business clinic is a new addition to Thrive and will be anchored by a panel of Successful business leaders who have made their mark in their various sectors. This forum offers a unique opportunity to have your questions answered in a practical manner, gaining rare insights on how to resolve present challenges and move ahead in business.

In this season of his life, Dr Sam Chand does one thing – Leadership. His singular vision for his life is to "Help Others Succeed"; mentoring, developing, and inspiring leaders to break all limits.

Dr Chand is a leader, coach, writer, consultant, motivational speaker, and University President Emeritus. He is a Dream Releaser he serves ministries and businesses as a Leadership Architect and Change Strategist, speaking regularly at leadership conferences, corporations, churches, seminars and other leadership development opportunities. He was recently named in the top-30 global leadership Gurus list.

Dr Sam Chand serves on the board of EQUIP (John Maxwell's organization), and Beulah Heights University and has authored and published eleven books.

Dr. Chand shares his life and love with his wife Brenda, two daughters Rachel & Deborah, son-in-law Zack and granddaughter Adeline.


Sam Adeyemi is a dynamic Teacher, Coach and host of the motivational program – SUCCESS POWER – which airs on radio and television stations around Africa and in Europe. He is passionate about teaching Success, Leadership and Financial principles through seminars and the media. He is in high demand as a speaker internationally. His teachings have motivated, encouraged and spurred on loads of people to start or advance their careers and businesses.

He has authored several books including the best selling – Parable of Dollars. Others include "Ideas Rule the World", "Start with what you have", "Sex Straight Talk" and "Second Revolution".

He also pastors the Daystar Christian Centre in Nigeria with a vision to raise role models in the society. And he is President of the Daystar Leadership Academy through which he helps professionals and entrepreneurs to cultivate excellent leadership skills.

Sam Adeyemi is happily married to Nike Adeyemi. They are both blessed with three lovely children.  

Tonye co-founded the Sahara Group in 1996 along with Ade Odunsi and Tope Shonubi, and currently serves as executive director. Sahara Group is now one of the leading players in the Nigerian Energy landscape. Prior to co-founding the Sahara Group, Tonye was the pioneer Director of Operations for Empressa Sul Americana de Montagens S.A., a Brazilian civil engineering company; and an architect for the frontline Brazilian architectural firm Grupo Quatro SA in Goiania, Brazil.

A graduate of Architecture from the University of Lagos and the Universidade de Brasilia, Brazil. Tonye believes in the tremendous human potential that lies "locked" within the country. He has devoted himself to unlocking this potential and spends a significant amount of his time speaking to business audiences and students in the country. He takes an active role in promoting the welfare of the underprivileged in the society working closely with foundations like Down syndrome foundation of Nigeria, Compassion center for physically handicapped children in Port Harcourt, Xplicit Dancers in Ibadan, and Cheshire home for the disabled in Lagos.

He is an avid motor sports fan with a particular penchant for racing super bikes. He also enjoys movies and digital photography. Tonye is married with three children.


Bolaji Idowu serves as the Senior Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center, a vibrant, multi-center church located in the city of Lagos. He is a dynamic speaker and ardent believer in the potency of the Word and Spirit of God, and the effective ability they have in creating maximum advantage in Life.

As one of the leaders of the charismatic wave of transformation sweeping across Africa, he has, for close to two decades, been motivating young people to live their dreams and attain to their maximum potential in life.

A graduate of Accounting from the University of Lagos, Pastor Bolaji teaches with dexterity in the areas of Business Process Regeneration, Kingdom Finance, as well as Creation and Implementation of Ideas. He is a regular speaker / facilitator in various programmes including the Daystar Leadership Academy (DLA). He is also the chancellor of the Harvesters Spiritual Development College (HSDC).

Pastor Bolaji Idowu hosts several life-transforming TV and radio programmes including the "Advantage"; which airs on major stations across the African continent. He is happily married.
